She was a perfect addition to the family but had one major flaw...

When Clem was a tiny puppy, her proud new Pug Dad Hayden, began researching which foods she needed for optimal nutrition. He was disappointed to discover that the majority of mainstream dog foods and treats contain low-grade animal by-products, cereals, and oils with lots of additives, sugars and preservatives—ingredients that you would actively try to avoid in your own diet. Unhealthy, unsustainable, and sub-optimal nutrition.

Clem must have known so too, as she refused to eat a pet shop’s-worth of what many would consider good quality kibble and treats! Realizing that he had a fussy eater with a sensitive stomach on his hands, Hayden drew from his 18 years experience as a chef and nutritional consultant and began preparing meals and treats for Clem which mirrored his own diet—one with sustainable cricket protein and nutritious, multi-functional superfoods. When friends and family began asking for them too, Pup Pup Foods was born.
